April 2026 Update
The 8171 Web Portal has been upgraded for the April 2026 payment cycle. Starting from March 29, 2026, the Government of Pakistan has initiated the second quarterly installment under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
Eligible families will receive payments starting from Rs. 13,500, with some households getting up to Rs. 14,500 due to provincial adjustments and inflation support.
BISP 8171 Payment Details (April – June 2026)
- Program Name: Benazir Kafaalat (8171)
- Installment Amount: Rs. 13,500 – Rs. 14,500
- Check Methods: SMS (8171) or Online Portal
- New Phase Start: Early April 2026 (phased rollout)
- Mandatory Requirement: NSER Dynamic Survey (every 3 years)

How to Check BISP Eligibility Online (Step-by-Step)
The updated portal is now faster and supports improved verification features for 2026.
- Visit the official 8171 web portal.
- Enter your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes).
- Fill in the captcha code shown on the screen.
- Click on Submit/Check.
- View your result:
- Eligible: Payment is ready or scheduled.
- Pending: Data is being verified with National Database and Registration Authority.
- Ineligible: Your PMT score may be above the required threshold.
Alternative Method (SMS Check)
If you don’t have internet access Web Portal, simply send your CNIC number via SMS to 8171. You will receive an instant reply with your eligibility and payment status.
2026 Registration Process for New Families
If you are not registered, follow these steps to complete the NSER Dynamic Survey:
- Visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Office.
- Bring your original CNIC, children’s B-Forms, and a recent utility bill.
- Go to the Dynamic Registration Desk and provide your household details.
- Complete biometric verification (thumbprint).
- Wait for a confirmation SMS from 8171 (usually within 30 days).

- Biometric Issues: If fingerprint verification fails at ATMs, visit a NADRA office for biometric updates, Web Portal.
- Helpline: Call 0800-26477 to report complaints such as deductions or fraud.
- SMS Security: Only trust messages from 8171. Messages from unknown numbers are scams.
- Free Service: BISP registration and eligibility checks are completely free—never pay anyone for approval.
