The Government of Pakistan has confirmed that the first quarterly payments for 2026 have been completed. Now, the focus has shifted to the April–June 2026 installment, with updates already reflected in the 8171 system.
The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has also incorporated additional relief measures, including Ramzan support packages Ehsaas Program, to help low-income families manage rising expenses Ehsaas Program.
BISP 8171 Payment Schedule 2026
Payments for the second quarter are being distributed in phases to reduce overcrowding:
- Phase 1 (Early April 2026):
Major cities and districts; beneficiaries with verified biometric records - Phase 2 (Mid-April 2026):
Rural areas and tehsils across Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Balochistan - Phase 3 (Late April 2026):
Remaining families, including those with recent NSER updates or pending verification
Updated Payment Amounts – April 2026
Due to a 15% increase to counter inflation, beneficiaries may receive multiple payments:
- Benazir Kafaalat: Rs. 13,500 – Rs. 14,500
- Ramzan Relief Package: Rs. 10,000 (for eligible families via 8171 or 9999)
- Taleemi Wazaif: Rs. 2,500 – Rs. 5,000 per child (based on class and gender)
- Aghosh Program: Up to Rs. 38,000 for pregnant and lactating mothers (paid in stages)
How to Check 8171 Payment Status (Latest Method)
You can verify your payment using two official methods:
1. 8171 Web Portal
- Visit: 8171.bisp.gov.pk
- Enter your 13-digit CNIC number
- Input the captcha code
- Click “Check Eligibility” to view your payment status
2. SMS Service
- Type your CNIC number
- Send it to 8171
- Receive a reply with your eligibility and payment details
Important NSER Survey Update
If your status shows “Survey Expired” or “Ineligible,” you must update your data:
- Visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office
- Bring your original CNIC and children’s B-Forms
- Complete the NSER Dynamic Survey (required every 3 years)
- Ensure your PMT score remains within the eligibility range
