The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program has entered a new phase in April 2026, offering increased stipends along with a strict 70% attendance requirement.

If you are a beneficiary of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Kafaalat program, your children (ages 4–22) can receive additional financial support for education.

Taleemi Wazaif Stipend Rates 2026 (Quarterly)

Stipends are issued every three months. Girls receive higher amounts to promote education, along with a special bonus for completing primary school.

  • Primary (Class 1–5):
    • Boys: Rs. 2,500
    • Girls: Rs. 3,000
  • Secondary (Class 6–10):
    • Boys: Rs. 3,500
    • Girls: Rs. 4,000
  • Higher Secondary (Class 11–12):
    • Boys: Rs. 4,500
    • Girls: Rs. 5,000

How to Check Taleemi Wazaif Status (By CNIC)

You can check your child’s stipend status through the following methods:

1. 8171 Web Portal

  • Visit: 8171.bisp.gov.pk
  • Enter the mother’s 13-digit CNIC
  • Input the captcha code
  • View both Kafaalat payment and Taleemi Wazaif balance

2. SMS Service

  • Send the mother’s CNIC number to 8171
  • Receive an SMS with eligibility and payment details

3. Mobile App

  • Download the official Taleemi Wazaif app from the Google Play Store
  • Track attendance and payment history easily

Complete Registration Process (2026)

Initial registration must be completed in person:

  1. Visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office with:
    • Mother’s original CNIC
    • Children’s B-Forms (issued by NADRA)
  2. Collect the Enrollment Slip from the BISP office
  3. Submit the slip to your child’s school
  4. The school principal will fill in the EMIS code, sign, and stamp it
  5. Return the verified slip to the BISP office
  6. Wait for a confirmation SMS from 8171

Important Rules for 2026

  • 70% Attendance Required:
    This is a conditional cash program. If attendance falls below 70%, the stipend will be blocked for that quarter

    The mother must remain an active BISP Kafaalat beneficiary. If she becomes ineligible, the child’s stipend will stop
  • Age Criteria:
    • Primary: 4–12 years
    • Secondary: 8–18 years
    • Higher Secondary: 13–22 years
